S-Class CL-Class Facelift (Spy Photos & info)

I really like the front. When this car was first released I loved it. Over time however, I have begun to lament this decision. I really do not like the rear window treatment, something that was quite well hidden in the press photos at release. I think it is all down to that the fact that previous generation has stood at the test of time and still looks sleek and sophisticated. This generation looks a large sea dwelling mammal at times to my observant eyes. Without the AMG package - treading on thin ice MB!

I have to say that the front looks incredibly good, much better thna the current model, wich is something I was afraid of. Now it´s the rear what worries me, with those reverse lights next to the license plate.

Any idea about the shape of the new rear lights? Will the new reverse lights be connected to the main rear light units like in GBOY's impression or will they be completely separate?

Definitely the real deal. Tail lights are different, plus it's got the new 63's exhausts tips.

And this is what the guy that shot it said:

"This is the new facelift of the CL 63 AMG with the new 5.5 liter biturbo engine. They made some advertising pics for Mercedes Benz in the "Hafen City" in Hamburg. When I came over and took my camera, a guy jumped to me crying "no photos", but it was too late . . . This car will be presented end of this year. The guy tried to catchj my camera, but luckily he was not successfull "
