Klier you over react to any negative comment raised on any BMW.
Truth alert. He is like a guard dog and BMW the house. barking in all directions while yanking his leash.

They should pay his ass
At least send him some M stickers for his laptop.

It´s a an improvement over the old one. Side profile looks ok now. Interior also just ok, but i wish i could see something new already. Overall it´s a good update.

But God, i still can´t believe i´m in a 6er thread? What´s next? 8er family Tourer?

Pffftt.. I laugh at the V-Classes puny 8 seater luxury capacity...

I wanna roll with my 47 other seated bros, whilst 120 hoes stand and dance for us - thereby not exceeding the CapaCity's maximum occupant capacity ..

.. we can put MTV Cribs on the two Passengers 29" TFT informational displays, and sip cristal in the climate controlled driver area ..

.. I wonder if Mercedes could take the roof of the rear coach of the bus, they could call it a CapaCity Landaulet ... we could party under the sun all day long ..

That's some maxi luxury shi* right there.

Okay so I'm being facetious now .... I wouldn't turn down a V-Class Marco Polo if I was offered one.

I could see Lufthansa adding the 6GT to their fleet of cars that transport passengers from their First Class lounge to the plane.

And piss off their best customers in the process. Usual transport is a MB S-Class, Porsche Panamera and Cayenne. I have used this a few times and have always got an S-Class. If I saw a 6er Gran Turismo I would think they've gone downmarket.

Yeah, yeah, first world problems.

If you are on a flight with more than 3 Passengers from the FCT (HON or Föööööörst-Ticket), your transport is a MB-Van! Had this just last week on my way to SIN.

I would consider the 6GT's interior is on par with a Cayenne's. Either way, I'd love to experience Lufthansa's first class one of these days, but I digress.

@martinbo as well

6er Reihe was a child of a very difficult era. Mind its precursor was the BMW Z9 Coupe & Cabrio Concepts - which were vehicles of one class higher & one size bigger than the actual production version of E63 6er ... and were actually 7er based.

Z9 was planned to be a new generation of 8er but it was reduced to smaller, cheaper 6er. Then another attempt of 7er-based 8er revival was scraped: project Gran Turismo.

So, BMW are returning to the original idea: reviving the 8er coupe & now also cabrio. While 6er is now positioned to be "a new era gran turismo vehicle": offering effortless travelling in style & comfort. And today effortless travelling / driving is all about roomines, comfort & also about semi-command sitting position. Original 6er was a GT of its era, today's 6er GT is a GT of today's era.

Also GTs were once kings of twisted rural / mountain / coastal roads ... Today's GTs are more of an Autobahn cruisers.

Also, the BMW GTs have their own customer pool & followers. It's a niche. But still bigger one than the one of classic bigger coupes like 6er coupe or 6er gran coupe.

I agree with you, but most regard the 6 Series as this:

M635CSi-bmw.webp

That is why some might not find proper the integration of the 5er GT successor into the 6er model series. A true successor to the E24 (meaning essentially the M635CSi), with a solid performance orientation, shall be highly valued. A modern 3.0 CSL (inspired by the Hommage concept car) would, as well, be a dream, although too sweet to be true.
