6 Series (G32) [Official] BMW 6er GT (G32)

The BMW G32 is the fourth generation 6 Series, which went on sale from 2017 to 2023. The body style of the G32 is a 5-door fastback and it is marketed as "6 Series Gran Turismo" (replacing the previous generation 5 Series Gran Turismo).
Surfaces and lines make the side profile look way better than what the weird proportions allow it. The rear looks great as well.

Who would have though, I think this car is way more decent than I initially thought.

I think it looks really good...

Providing you're wearing very tall stilts...

Seriously though, the M-sport pack looks terrible in my opinion, much like the X line-up the non-M sport models look much better.

Good grief....

The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo The first ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo ...

... WE GET IT ... you don't want to call it a 5 series anymore!
I thought you were exaggerating..but no..they were really serious about this "First ever 6 GT thing"..

Btw, it ended up being called and teh 8er ended up being a 8er, not the 6er some were expecting.

A 5-door "coupé" SMV (Sport Minivan Vehicle). :D

Adding another (repost) image cause otherwise:
:worthless:

and that's a nice pic BTW (IMHO).

Considering the versatility this vehicle must have, I actually like the design. It's really good looking with the M pack. I like it.

This and the new X3 both have very 3D rear lights.
I really wanted this for the G30 too, it would make the rear a lot less plain IRL. No doubt, this will be for the G30 LCI.

BTW, this new '3D' rear lights trend was started by the 991.2. And it's fabulous.

I really liked the 5er GT, but it's awefully weird after seeing the 6er GT next to it. The difference is quite huge.

I wonder though, @Sunny, for how long has the Panamera been pregnant? And is it a twin or triplets? :D

Actually I like it VERY much... Looks much sleeker and expensive than what I thought
The old 5GT, while not a looker, grew on me. It had qualities certain customers do appreciate:
1. higher sitting position - much easier for getting in and out than a sedan - perfect if you do not need/want and SUV
2. Very luxurious inside and extremely comfortable on long journeys -
3. It is the most Mercedes like BMW to drive
4. more practical than a sedan, not as much as a touring
All in all, you respect and appreciate the 5GT, however it lacked a certain appeal that the 6GT does have more of.
I think this will be much more successful

Depends on your definition of practicality I think. It beat the tourings load space in terms of raw litre-age, and it did so whilst still offering more space for passengers. It didn't have a flat floor with the back seats down, and obviously the shape of the load space was different, but I'd bet for 9 out of 10 uses it was no worse than the touring.

If you take the car for what it really is a 5 series liftback it's rather nice, BMW made a mistake calling it a 6 series and not launching it with 4 cylinder engines. Where I live they sold bugger all 6 cylinder models, when the 4 cyliner was introduced and the price dropped to realistic levels they became pretty popular.

I see they also fixed the failing of the pervious 5GT, the rear seat, if you had three in the back the middle seat was a pretty nasty place to sit, the new rear bench looks to have resolved this issue.
