6 Series Official Pictures : BMW 6er Convertible.

The BMW 6 Series is a range of grand tourers produced by BMW since 1976. Successor to the E9 Coupé.
Yesterday I saw my first 6er Convertible. It´s true I´d never buy a Cabrio over a Coupe, and it´s also true I´d never buy a car in red, but the Vermillion Red 6er Cabrio I saw shocked me. How perfect every line was. The front, even being the part I like the less, looked really classy and powerful. The rear was unbelievable good looking, so aggressive, so powerful. But there´s something that impressed me more than any other thing of the car: The profile, the stance of the car. I guess this is the nicest side profile I´ve seen. The shoulder line looked perfect, far away from that trand to break the shoulder line, or draw it upwardd instead of downward.

Really fell in love with the car.

^ Great to read you like the car so much!
I personally don't like it as much as you. There is something awkward about the cabrio, but I can't really get a hold on what exactly is the awkward part...

I'm sure I will get the feeling you have now when I see the coupe with full LED headlights, though. One of the downright ugly parts of the cabrio I saw/sat in were the bulb blinkers. So FREAKING nasty :t-banghea:t-banghea:t-banghea:t-banghea

Part I like less, that really sucks is that little side stand where they put the price tag,,,,

For me, there are two least favorite bits; the non-retractable, tombstone of a NAV screen. The second is the non-functional black plastic parts of the side marker/turn indicators.

In my view, both are beneath the car, giving it a look closer to an Asian econobox.

But good God, the rest of the coupe is absolutely beautiful!

To me there´s something awkward in every cabrio, hence I wouldn´t buy one over a Coupe (unless I live in California or something like that). What is nice about the 6er Cabrio is not the Cabrio part but the 6er one. The design details are marvelous, you´ll see. Regarding the frontlights, I didn´t spend too much time looking at them, but I agree the should be LED and with black blinkers.

This should be a functional vent, reducing under hood temperatures. A turn indicator could be included without the bling-bling.
