S-Class (W221/C216) CL-Class Facelift (Spy Photos & info)

Its definitely the AMG model of the CL; methinks the Bi-Turbo V8 may appear in this model given how long they are taking to prepare it. What I love is how they used another AMG S-Class with snow-chained tyres and then, (presumably), when that didn't work, they thought "F*** it, let's use a proper 4x4!" and then used the prototype ML!

Does anyone remember the SLS prototype being pushed into a side street?

Anyone notice the grill on that CL, has the same type of slits that the CLS sculpture had, that kind of fade at the edges. Looks like the new coupe grills from MB will be all like that.

Good catch. The AMG model seems to have the old lights, perhaps they started testing with a current CL AMG model and just updated it with the new tech excluding the pure cosmetical changes such as headlights.

The mirrors are different, and so are the headlights. Perhaps that is not the new S coupe, but a CL to throw everyone off.

I don't think Mercedes will do any radical changes to the headlights, those are probably fake tapes altering the design.If you notice previous facelifted mercedes models, only minor changes are done and this is CL, why change the design and bring down the resale value?

They are gonna change the rear lights graphics, the front lights shape, and the front bumper, oh and also the mirrors. Then an engine update and et voila, S-Coupe.

Those previous pictures are probably S coupe 63/65,i still think that they will only add LED day light and a bottom signal light to the headlight, the outside shape of the headlight will not change it is only the internal component, also expect a new AMG/Classical front/rear bumper, new upright single/double chrome grill for S63/65 and S550 Coupes full LED tail lights and a new redesigned exhause pipes.

check these pictures which are posted before , you can notice that the shape of the front headlights are the same
