Fake extensions have been added inside the licence plate recessed area anf FAKE reverse lights put on there. Let's not be fooled. No extra boot recess lights. You can see it clearly in this pic.

I actually think that there are new independent reverse lights on the edges of the licence plate recess.

The tail-lights of the current CL have never impressed me. The new tail-lights will look much better without the white colour streaks for the reverse lights. The white streaks were incoporated into the tail-lights to follow the waist-line and it wasn't very successful.

It's only a facelift. Even if they mess it up, we will only have to see it for three years anyway. I would actually be more concerned about the New models.

I'm sure everything will work out find just like the S-class sedan face-lift.

I'm not so sure how well the rear lights are going to work out...this better not look bad.
Even if the lights do turn out bad, I won't be mad unless they use them on the CLS...that will be a disaster.

I expect the CL to be changed to the S-Class coupe like everyone else. There will be a new CL500/550 with a 4.6L DI + turbo V8 with 425hp and a CL63 with the new engine just announced with the full 571hp.

I can't wait to see it.

Nothing unusual. The cars are rival each other the same way the CLS and 6-Series do. They are both attractive alternatives for those wanting the practicality of a sedan but the styling of a coupe.

Front still looks like shit, should have taken the front from the S, The A.. Looks like a bloated hyundai, and that should have been updated the earliest.....
