And yet, it could be a feasible indication of where Audi will be going regarding the exterior design of their future sedans/Sportbacks/Avants.

It looks approachable but still humble; in my opinion, the new design will be more radical and sexy, more in line with the C concept.

I thought A4 is A5? So is the Avant a Sportback? Or is the Sportback an Avant? Is it going to be an Audi? Or an AUDI? 😆

IMHO, the rendering presents an automobile that presents a sort of "Volvo/Polestar Meets Bauhaus Minimalism" that I find very attractive. And has been sadly missing in more recent Audi vehicles. Of course...nothing more than a rendering.

Another take on a future A4 etron featuring "Radical Next" design elements:

The sheer cleanliness of these sorts of designs ensure a high degree of "timelessness".

I think that the NKL BMW's will be pursuing something similar, although different.

This front is so awful that I pray to all the gods that it never gets past the concept stage.

These illustrators are too limited mentally to understand how the new philosophy of the C concept will be translated to the sedans and other models of the brand; they just slap on the front and rear poorly and don't have the brainpower to understand the rest and the whole.

They fail to grasp that some of the most beautiful Audis we've ever seen are coming, which is understandable because they lack creativity and talent; they just draw by killing the original idea, resorting to the old mixed with the new, like AI does.

Do you think that the next generation of Audis will be also more beautiful than the De Silva Audis in the 2000s? I'm curious about it because I had an Audi A4 in the late 2008 and it was one of the most beautiful Audi I have seen after the schreyer's A4 and also schreyer's TT......as for de Silva Audis i appreciate the Nuvolari concept car

I don't know if they'll be more beautiful, since I consider Da Silva's designs wonderful, but I do believe that we'll experience the same kind of "moment," where Audi will once again be on everyone's lips for positive things in terms of design, setting trends again like when Da Silva launched them to stardom.

I understand, I had the 2009 A6 C6 and just seeing its front end made me smile every time, an instant classic.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
