GLE [Spyshots] 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz GLE, formerly Mercedes-Benz M-Class (designated with the "ML" nomenclature), is a mid-size luxury SUV produced by the German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz since 1997. In terms of size, it is slotted in between the smaller GLC and the larger GLS, the latter with which it shares platforms.

The MLC against a couple of my F86 X6 M shots....scale and distance seems about right for each car. Hard to tell with the MLC in heavy button down camo...but the MLC does look very "Bulky" even allowing for the camo...The vertical distance from top of doors to bottom of doors looks larger on the MLC vs F86 X6......Thanks Palbay

Take a closer look, this sport model's front bumper is very similar to that of GLA sport version-two big round vents on each side with / \ style in the middle.

More round than the X6 I think.

Definitely. It's bigger, looking bulkier & beefier. While Mk2 X6 definitely goes for sleeker & more athletic look compared to Mk1 X6. What it helps MLC to achieve sporty look is the lower more rounded tail and the very shallow greenhouse comparedbto the body panels. While eg the roof line is not as aggressive as on F16 X6 - with much more dramatic slope from A-pillar towards the rear. Both looking great in their own way. But this time MLC will have the "tank" image while X6 will appeal with its sleeker athletic look.

Suspect the subtler, rounder features of the ML Coupe may appeal more like this render? :)

To present the difference in stance. X6 is more - as Germans would say - "keilformig", while MLC is more "wuchtig" or even "klobig". Interesting choice. I guess there will be much difference in drive / ride style as well: MLC offering more comfort, X6 more driving fun.

Sorry but I think Porsche will do something like this. It is going to be happen suppliers have apparently seen a full sized model in Leipzig.

Actually like this better than the concept. There was something about the ride height and size of the tires that didn't look right on the concept. The production seems to sit lower and the wheels appear to 'fit' the wheel well better.

See I actually prefer the iPad look. I don't like the "integrated" look. It's much like BMW's which I don't find attractive.

I think the dash integration just flows nicely. I don't think the iPad looks horrible, but the cleaner dash is nice on the integrated screen. Just my opinion. :)

Looks like the interior will be the same as the ML, if not very similar, which makes financial sense, but definitely a step back for a 2015/16 model. It shouldn't have the radio the way it looks now, but instead a C-Class type integration. A Little disappointed if that's the case, unless only the top part of the dash is the same, which is a possibility.
