I love that screen and the design placement. The integrated look looks better then the freestanding look, I think. I hope MB implements that into the C-Class refresh.

Does this mean the MLC will have a short life since they can't facelift this interior (it will be the FL ML interior for sure) when the new ML is due?

Once the wrap comes off I think it will be a cool looking vehicle.
It has a sleek powerful stance, like a futuristic buffed-out 4x4 car. (Something that could easily fit right into a new Mad-Max film.) The proportions on this pre-production vehicle already look way better than the concept. It seems to have a sleeker profile than the X6 with it`s anti-wedge shape. The X6 sits up like a normal SUV-wagon in comparison somehow,( from what I can see so far.)

I predict the X6 will have more interior space.

These vehicles are all about style though. I cannot wait to see a production side by side comparo.

If the spy interior shots are anything to go by, the X6 will have the MLC covered in terms of interior design.

Agreed, unless MB dis doing what it did during CLS testing by using the E interior since they are cars based on the same platforms. I think it would be a huge mistake to release it with the ML interior, but the costs would be much lower. I did read a report, I think on Wroldcarfans, that the interior would be different from the ML/GL...

I hope so. But it's coming out of the same factory and even the previous generation ML and GL had more differentiation than the current models.

My real concern is the C-Pillar. If it has a slight kick in it I believe it will complete the package ok...

The bubble wrap over the lift-back is camo. Remove that and you have the profile.
