The current standard CL looked like shit, sales have proven that as well, the new 1 looks even more like shit. AMG looks nice thought, but come on, thats no excuse to make the std CL look dull as DAFFY DUCK...!!!

You can have it without chrome on sport versions, but with a lot of chrome as well.

Hence why I went with Individual and added shadowline. None of this unnecessary and gaudy chrome to play for the crowd. Doesn't do it for me one bit. I find the chrome of the lower fenders on the CL FL to be overkill. It is totally unnecessary and in my opinion does nothing but degrade the perceived value of the vehicle.

215 looked utterly ugly either with amg or without it. One of the worst designed cars by mercedes of all times. 216 is zillion times better-looking

It might be ugly to you, but to alot of other peopple, the old gen had Heart and soul..And had a look that stood out with lotsa presence....not likethe current Std CL which has that Hyundish Look.The cl front shares no link with the rest of the Merc Family, thank god for that. they should have made the CL more radical looking or given it a S class front....

The CL has always been a very "slow" seller with sales consistently being less than 10% of S-Class sales. Most 2 seater MB customers opt for the SL while the CL appeals to a substantially different market.

That must be a CL600. Very expensive looking.

I don't see how anyone could think the C215 was an ugly car, it was the best looking Mercedes since the C124 Coupe and R129 SL IMO.
