S-Class coupe should have debuted already, following the sedan. The car goes on sale here as a 2010 model this fall. Detroit 2010 would make it a 2011 model year car here too much lag behind the sedan which goes on sale next month.

Yea...MB must have something interesting planned for the facelift if it is taking this long.

The S-Class is always released before the CL and we don't have the facelift S-Class (US) yet.

@Artist ... It is the S65 Coupe but i don't think it is the facelift. Looks like a new front bumper and LED lights but the rear and most of the interior appears to be the same.

2011 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class AMG Facelift Scooped

All you had to do was look it up guys :D

Nothing we have not already seen but for the drop dead good looking SLS . In real life compared to the photographs you can see the SLS is actually more compact than it looks.

If I worked for Daimler marketing I would suggest a more compact SLS type vehicle for the compact segment. That could be interesting.

But the gossip on the Mercedes-Benz is the imminent demise of Maybach.
In Industry rumours earlier I posted the rumours were Maybach , Smart or F1 on the block. Now that they have retained an F1 presence , especially with a stronger influence of the Brawn team. That means something else is about to give.

Maybach could be axed - Autocar.co.uk

I really hope they don't kill Maybach. They really could do something magical with Aston-Martin at that end of the market IMO.

An SLK-based electric/hybrid concept is in the works, if we are to believe some rumors a few months back. This concept would feature gullwing-type doors, and the high door sills would serve as housing for twin lithium batteries.

Good news on the Gullwing being more compact than it looks--because it looks as massive as a boat, to this viewer at least.
