Is this not also a way to prevent the "skipping of a range" that could happen if the 1-series couple becomes a family and move directly to the 5-series instead of taking the long way via the 3-series? By increasing the youtfull elements in marketing the 3-series, the 1-series customer will have an easier task in facing the fact that he or she is not 25 anymore. Before, the 3-series and 5-series were both quite grown-up in terms of image. Now, the 25 year old may still have a few years of relative youtfull driving.
At the same time, the 5-series needs to be a bit more mature, as the now-awakened 3-series owners seeks something that is not as associated with retired people as the 7-series but still a means of transportation that is comfortable and tells the world that the driver is concious.
Are you sure it's not from the performance parts ree ?
Completely sure - according to "BMW Options" website. The aerodynamic package costed 1.200 € for the pre-facelift version. But I don't know if there is a combination of Aerodynamic and M-sportpackage available with BMW Perfomance…
I think that might be a specific bodykit for the 335is only rather than being extra aerodynamics parts. Something similar to the 135i coupe.

So will Europe get this "is" version?

Ree, I don't think the 335is has the aero pack. It's a new original package like the Z4 35is, I think...
Nopeshame, cause that 335is looks stunning.
I'm afraid not. But hey, we still have BMW Performance, so it's not that bad.
...Well actually it is, because the exterior package of this new model is just mindblowing
BTW, did you guys notice:
The 335is cabrio has foglights, and the 335is coupe has a vertical bar and no foglights. What do you think, another crappy PS job by BMW (on the cabrio), or will they really differ from eachother??
They will really differ from eachother, just as the Pics are showing. Don't ask me why...
