3 Series [Official] BMW E92 Coupé/E93 Cabriolet 3-Series Facelift

The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. BMW's best selling model, it is the successor to the 02 series. Since 2013, the coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series. The M version of the 3 series, the M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.
Yep.
BTW, Betty, the area around the cupholders is black instead of the red of the interior. Is this a facelift option or was it like that before as well?
IMO it looks good like that with the contrast....
It's always been like that (see below) which was the reason why I left out upholders.

Best regards,

Cupholders in an M3 is retarded to begin with.

Cupholders in general btw. Typical American thing every European car suddenly has to have too :t-banghea

Yep, as south says, black on my car too (pre facelift obviously).

As much as cupholders sound pointless on a high performance car, it's not as if I'm driving my M3 like it's on a track all of the time, so on a long journey back to the UK for example, the cupholders are useful. If I had a GT3 RS, a cupholder would still be useful.

Since we're on the topic of cupholders for the 3er Coupe, Betty, how stable are the cup holders ? Have you run into situations where it becomes problematic ?

I'm just curious because I'm contemplating a CPO 328i Coupe in a few months.. and since you guys were talking about it, I thought I'd ask. :)

The way the rearlights wrapp into the sideprofile is becomming identical in every new BMw, I seaa the very same on on the 3er Coupe, F10 5er, X1... C´mon BMW, a bit of imagination with all this stuff.

They are very stable, I don't have bad experience with them. For me it is a very useful option, since I drink a lot of water and I always have 0.5 l bottle in my car..

^ You could put the bottle everywhere, no need for cupholders imo ;)

Or you could put the bottle in a neat holder which doesn't let the bottle fly around the car when braking or maybe even leak everywhere.

The last time I checked my cupholders don't make my M3 slower or ruin it's handling. :usa7uh:

I´m in such pain waiting for the 6er to shed the camo, I forgot to tell you guys I ordered (back in August) two 320D coupes for my kids (grown men, one is 29, the other one 23!).

Damn!! Those are some spoiled boys :t-hair: :D

Congrats dude!!

Last time I checked, the cupholders in the 3er were quite worthless and the bottle would still fly through the air when taking a sharp corner......and I wasn't even driving an M3 like you, imagine that ;)

Not sure this is the right thread to post but it’s been 10 years since someone posted here so why not.

Maybe the fastest E92 M3 coupe in the world? It’s an absolute beast this car

The first and last V8 BMW M3 and last NA engined version. What an engine, beauty to the ears. It's a sad world we living in. Small capacity turbo engines and next electric powertrains will be the dominant force.
