It seems like Porsche's 911 is really Porsche's depreciation king (i.e, not depreciating). The Cayenne depreciates preposterously bad (SUV's always depreciate the worst), and the Panny I'm not sure about, but it seems to have held its price very well here, so far, I think.
The 6er "family" will depreciate like bricks, I have no doubts. As much as I love the 6 (COUPE), it must be the most artificially high priced car I've ever seen. They have 650i's with M-Pack for $110K INSANE! I know that's cheap considering the ROW, but in the U.S, that's remarkably high for a car that its perception and shared parts with lower priced siblings.
Already, I heard people were getting around 20% off those prices, right off the Showroom floor, and the car just came out. My feeling is that once the car becomes 1 or 2 years old, at least during end-of-year Sales, you can get a $100K 6er in the $70's (already heard some stories of close to that happening).
