I saw from the beginning there was something wrong with the scale, but I figured it was me being a retard for not understanding, so I didn't ask the question.

Looking at it again, they got the units wrong. The N63 produces 600Nm or 450lb-ft of torque. Consider the graph a mix-up between European and US spec.

AFAIK, it's just the 640i dyno, they've mistakenly listed 650i values into.

640i - Unladen weight EU: 1735 kg
650i - Unladen weight EU: 1845 kg (previous generation 650i: 1725 kg = 120 kg difference)

Compare new 650i (1845 kg) with the new 550i - 1905 kg = 60 kg difference

Quite piggy, a huge weight gain. Hmmppfff....120 kg....WT F!!!!!?!!!

So the aluminium parts and plastic parts as HIGHLIGHTED in the press release are nothing more than marketing gimmicks, as they were absolutely necessary in order to keep the weight a *little* in order. They are not put on to make the 6er lighter and more nimble (well they are, but just because the rest is so freaking heavy).

Yes but 60 kg on 1905 kg isn't overly much.

With 1845 kg, a possible M6 CLS won't make any sense, unless they would be able to shed like 300 kg minimal. Which they won't be able to do for a price that's within reason.

I know they are working on the B6 as I have seen a few around.
Might possibly debut at the IAA in September?

But we can officially say now.... That class of 2003 - 5er , X3 and 6er is now finally dismissed.
Next is class of 2004.
