The F12/F13/F06 generation is often collectively referred to as the F12. Production: March 2011 – September 2018.
Fantastic avatar SCOTT, it seems everything fits nicely to the new 5er, even that bumper of the electric model.

M6. I'm quite sure of that. And other than those blinkers (should be darker, I agree), the car is perfect.

Now, still nothing about the weight??

I wouldn´t hesitate if I were buying this car, just would take it somewere and black out the indicators. We blacked out our ML rear glasses and it wasn´t expensive, so this would be ridculous.

As for the colours, I´d order mine in electric blue, with black/alu interior.

I have one question..why the hell would they release this now, and not bring it to the geneva autoshow..which is still going on?
I mean 1 week earlier??

This further prooves the gayness of BMW..

I just laughed so hard at this comment.

I agree with you. Why not Geneva? I guess they want to have their own private party.

BMW is smart Artist, that's all. Don't confuse being smart with being gay.

You're just pissed the car wasn't there for your own personal viewing pleasure :)

I guess it´s reserved for the Gran Coupe.

More like the M6 ;)

They are reserving the car for China much like how a few other car manufacturer are debuting their cars at the Shanghai auto show. :)

- 53.9 in. (1,369 mm) height - 0.2 inch (5 mm) lower than previous 6-series coupe

Oooh, the B6 render looks hot!!

Lets see what they make of the M6 now....

And the car is longer, wider and lower than the old 6er. Will look great irl! Now, what's up with them not releasing any weight info??? Are they that scared??

The 6er begins the launch of Adaptive LED technology but it will filter through to the whole model line. So you will be able to eventually get it on the latest released models such as X3 and 5er but you will see it on the Compact and Premium entry upcoming replacements for the 1er and 3er respectively.

BMW have a Deep Sea Blue 650i Convertible with adaptive LED on the same wheels as the Coupe and it looks absolutely stunning.

One thing though it is an expensive option. Some say maybe justified in order to fill the 6er's empty face?

The original plan was to bring the coupe to Geneva but reaction to the market has dictated that Shanghai would be a better market for a premiere. As it stands the Gran Coupe could debut in Beijing next year following on two years since it's original chinese debut. And it is not just BMW that are doing so.
Mercedes-Benz , Audi and Porsche are planning on some big debuts for AutoShanghai aswell as BMW.

Geneva if you look at it was the "getting back on track" show - Product, economy and the return of the "actual" concept car , instead of something that will be here in a few months.

Something about this dyno tells me, the 650i may be a bit overrated... You may find it dissapointing ;)
