Out of this world!!! :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool

The Full LED headlights looks absolutely PERFECT! The car looks outrageously gorgeous! BMW did one great job!

PS: Thanks to each and everyone that contributed to this exceptional thread and for all the photo's and info:usa7uh::t-cheers:

Holy sheit!! Whole lot of YES!!

Elegance, elegance, elegance. This car is a like a beautiful and sacred woman.

Glad to see BMW back on their game when it comes to Sedans and Coupes.

This thing absolutely crushes the lukewarm Convertible, as I was hoping it would.

BMW is smart Artist, that's all. Don't confuse being smart with being gay.

So are you saying that being Gay means that you can't be smart?

Also, if BMW's reasoning for not showing up to Geneva is because they're being Gay, is that insinuating that they're shacked up in sexual escapades with vehicles of the same sex?

Back to the car. I'm so glad to see BMW going back to HERITAGE and CLASSiC designs, something that M-B has been proudly flaunting for sometime, and BMW really needed it to get old fans like me back in the Mix. Those stomach butterflies of when I was a young kid, when seeing BMW's, are starting to show back up a little bit.

Scott27: Can you tell us if Bangle was still in charge when this design was being developed? I assume he was, as he was in charge during the F01, which is the initiator of this design language. Kind of sucks for him, as he'll be remembered for those E65 gen cars, but probably will never get widespread credit for "fixing" his own designs, speaking on the Sedans and Coupes at least. Kind of makes me wonder what he would have had in store for us in the future, had he not hightailed it just when BMW started getting sexy again.

Sorry k-a but weren't you horrified by the design approach that mb taken since the w212 ?

Sorry k-a but weren't you horrified by the design approach that mb taken since the w212 ?

Yes, I was. Now I'm kind of in the middle (hit or miss). I've really come to understand some, and fallen in love with them all over again, so much so that I think they're the most beautiful cars on the road (like the W212, W221, W204, SLS, etc., to an extent, for example), others I'm still in limbo about (like the CLS).

But, I will chalk much of my eager disdain for M-B's current designs up to being someone who had just boughten an older model, and was pissed at himself for not waiting. That said, I LOVE the idea of owning a car for a long time, and growing with it after the newer designs come out, etc..... I just would have liked more than a year of a current body style to experience. :D

To close, I won't be one of those "here-today-gone-tomorrow" wishy-washy types and say that the new models blow the old ones away, but I will say that I find some of them to properly evolve my favorite brand.

As for BMW, it had been so long since I'd loved a model, I'm just now starting to remember those classic models that I used to fawn over, and dream about. Not to mention, BMW's were all around me when growing up, had them all over the family, passed my driving test in one, probably spent about 4,000 hours in a late 90's 7-Series, drove and can still remember the sounds, nuances, performance, smells etc., of a mid-90's 5-Series, and E39 5-Series, drove an E60 around before I bought my W220 S-Class, etc. etc. etc. (hated the E60, in comparison to the previous models).

Glad to have BMW back (I'll just pretend the SUV lineup isn't around. :D To be fair, I'm equally harsh on M-B's "Made In America" SUV's).

Interesting to see that even BMW is on the Bang & Olufsen trend now. Can't really understand, cause the BMW Individual Sound System always got some good critics.
Nevertheless this car is absolutey mind-blowing. Would choose the Convertible version though.

Indeed, BMW appears to have found a cohesive and enduring design language that will evolve well throughout the developement of future BMW models. The accentuated shoulder bone line, the sculpturing of the hood, the L-themed taillamp graphics, and the nautical wake-like front fender theme as seen on the F01 7 series and F12/13 6 series. I assume that the Vision Connected concept roadster shown at the recent Geneva show is a good example of how this signature design will evolve over the next several years.

This is BMWs' design language, as are the precise, highly technical, devoid of frivolous elements a signature of Audi. M-B is still attempting to find a cohesive design identity, but it'll get there eventually.

Aww man, i'm loving this. Also, that red color is delicious. It really brings out all the surfacing details on this car.

Nice enough, but I'm not too excited by it. Good profile, maybe a bit too squashed; makes me wonder what room is left for the GC to differentiate itself. The profile of the front still has some of that gulping fish look to it and that made the old one very odd. From the front, there's too much going on. It's overly fussy IMO. LED overload. The kind of LEDs like on the Panamera would look so much better on this car.

The FULL LED headlights is also the best execution of this type of headlight yet - from any manufacturer that offers the technology:eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Audi was first and made a mess of it! Their full LED headlight on the A8 is simply horrible to look at.

The full LED on the Mercedes-Benz CLS is too busy.

6er Coupè's is just perfect - looks familiar BMW and without alienating the 'face of BMW' like those on the above mentioned manufacturers;):usa7uh:

EDIT: Scott27's AVATAR - BMW F10 with FULL LED headlights!!??:eusa_danc

I really like Black Sapphire, Deep Sea Blue and of course Space Grey

What's really needed, though, is something like Le Mans blue. Deep Sea Blue is imo a little too 'mature' for a BMW blue.
Maybe they'll offer it for the inevitable M pack... :eusa_thin:eusa_thin

EDIT: Scott27's AVATAR - BMW F10 with FULL LED headlights!!??:eusa_danc

SKYSONY was saying the same thing.
I personally find it just amazing you're able to see that from that tiny avatar....:t-hands:

Glad to have BMW back (I'll just pretend the SUV lineup isn't around).

Why? Are they bothering you or are they in your way in any way?
I mean, what's the problem when BMW still makes great looking sedan, coupe and roadster models too???

Well look at BMW doing their "thing". I'm sure Klier and Just_Me have already placed their orders.

I like the youthful and creative interior. The exterior is exceptional.

And just think some BMW fans were crying in the other "going soft" thread now look... Told you all not to give up. BMW is still doing their "thing" and doing it well! ;)
