The Porsche 991 is the seventh generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, produced from September 2011 to December 2019. It was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September as the replacement for the 997.

Seriously, this is "the" car to get.
There are many "THE" cars to get. In this context I'm thinking of the coming 458 Scuderia (or whatever it'll be called).

Auto Motor und Sport performance numbers:
- 0-100 kph: 3,6 s (claim: 3,5 s)
- 0-200 kph: 12,1 s (claim: 11,4 s)
- 400 m: 11,6 s @ 197 kph
Has AMS historically recorded "slower" acceleration times than other magazines? Just curious about it, as most P-cars accelerate faster than Porsche claims when American car magazines do the testing.
Not that I'm that upset about it......0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds is still pretty damn fast for a 3.8L flat 6!

AMS and Sport Auto has slower times because of their different testing methode (they test with 2 persons onboard).
American magazine results are far from reality because of their 1-ft-rollout methode. For instance this 3,6 sec 0-100 km/h time is about 3,4 sec 0-60mph and 3,2 s 0-60mph with 1-ft-rollout - tadamm, it's already faster than what Porsche claims.
