S-Class W222 [Spyshots] Mercedes-Benz 2014 W222 S-Class (Spy pics & info)

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class produced from 2013 to 2020, serving as the successor to the W221 S-Class and predecessor to the W223 S-Class. The W222 has a similar design theme to the C-Class (W205) and E-Class (W213).

Is this the real shape of the headlights? Well it seems a bit smaller & pretty nice. Hmmm I do see a hope over there that this car will be looking beautiful, hopefully.

I haven't seen a steering wheel look so Grandpa since the Lincoln Towncar. They ain't kidding with "old world luxury", but maybe taking it too literally.

The steering wheel is miles better than the one in the W221 which IMO is the worst steering wheel Mercedes has out there right now.

PS: Sweet mother of god those headlight units are massive and complicated. Imagine the replacement cost of one!

True that. The W221 wheel is hideous. Come to think of it, the W220's wheel was boring compared to the other M-B's as well. For some reason, M-B hasn't nailed an S-Class steering wheel in some time in my mind.

I'm loving the white interior, not gonna lie. Not sure about the aluminum bit running down the bottom of the wheel, but the rest looks fabulous.

That steering wheel looks way more luxurious and plush than the W221 wheel. I see they finally added more upscale materials to the cabin

Is a steering wheel really that noticeable when you're driving as long as it feel right in the hand? There was nothing wrong with the W221 wheel IMO.

This car had better be right, Mercedes needs something stunning to pull back some of the luster.

There was nothing wrong with th w221 steering wheel it's just that the w222 points out the flaws (to some people) that the w221 steeing wheel msn have

To me, the W221 was the ugliest MB had ever produced when the W221 was introduced. Then it came the C-Class and it gained that priced honour. And honestly, the designer that thought "Hey, what a great idea would be to return to the two-spoke steering wheel" must be fired ASAP.
