Looks very classy ..still think the face lifted 212 looks great as well.

^ classic grille is a must have imo. With neatly integrated shutlines.
That classic grill does seem to look better integrated in the front of the car, the sports grill is also nice but the shutline doesn't look good, it would have looked better if they had it attached to the bonnet instead of the bumper.

The E class has luxury in mind. Hence there is no surprise that the design is better integrated with the classic grille. Is there a possibility that the exterior shots are released before the detroit motor show on Jan 11

You may be not agree with me but I see a new model W123 interior inspiration, just look at a few details. The center console, door handles, vents routed over panel. It all reminds me of W123.

I agree, when I saw those round vents, straight away it made me think of the W123 interior. Quite amazing that the W123 came out exactly 40years before the W213 (designation similar but 1 and 2 swapped around).

I think the W212 they tried to use the W124 as inspiration for the interior as well in some ways.

I can understand why MB has been getting a bit of flack for the round vents, but the W123 proves that round vents have been a part (albeit a small part) of their heritage.

Great throwback!

The w213 is heavily influenced by the w222. Yes it may bear some similarity with the w123, it is purely coincidental
