X3/X4 [Official] The All-New 2014 BMW X4

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.

Excellent. Congratulations. I need to go out and drive one for myself but it seems the press quite like it.

Hi Scott27, Just received my car last week. it's an AWESOME car. congrats to BMW for their work. I already have done 1'500 km in 5 days! Here is a picture taken last weekend on an Swiss alpine pass road, back from a business trip in Italy. Sophisto Grey is absolutely an Astonishing colour under the light.

That Melbourne Red coloured one looks really good. I could like this X4 alot if I saw it in real life and could get to grips with those ugly front lights. I like the Old X6 alot but the new shape also have to see in the flesh first before saying I like it or not.

Congrats to your car. It looks awesome.
I wish you many km with fun but without crash or in german "knitterfreie Fahrt". :)

Congrats your car looks really nice!! Enjoy the trip!!!

A new proof to M version of the X4 on it's way.

I noticed this "new" symbol during this weekend. Thanks to the sun shining brightly on the cluster of my X4. Nothing is mentioned about it in the Owner's guide. But this symbol has been added from the Prefacelift X3 (F25). So I understand an M model will appear before the end life of the F26.

Eeeee Vivaaaaaa MDM Symbol. As far as I know only M models get the MDM button/mode. The m50d (5 serie or X5/6) doesnt' have it. Is it correct?

Any comment on that Scott27?

I wouldn't read too much into that. That part of the instrument binnacle could be shared with other cars which have an M version.

Hi Betty Swollocks,

Yes you may be right as it looks similar to F01 5 series 2013 models and 5 series GT. Now we just have to search for a 5 serie / 5 GT owner who could confirm that he has the same instruments, and that there is the MDM at the same place. ;)

I'm 100% certain that "MDM" is there under certain light conditions on standard 5 Series models, having driven numerous examples over the last few years. In fact, I'm pretty certain it's visible on the 7 Series too.

Yes I noticed that the 7 series had a similar Instrument Cluster too. Finally I could find this morning a +/- good picture of a 2010 760il Instrument cluster thanks to Google & Flickr.
Do not misunderstand my message I m not promoting High speed driving, it is just the fist picture I found that shows there are no MDM Symbol on the 2010 7 serie.
