Does anyone have an idea why are BMW ditching the “xDrive” emblems from the rear of the recent M Performance models? The M760e does not have it and the LCI M340i/M340d are no longer exhibiting them.

Nor do the real M cars, today or at any point in the past to my knowledge. Looks like BMW likes to advertize the xDrive technology on entry level models and versions, but perhaps thinks it isn't worth it on high-end versions (M and M Performance) because it would divert the attention away from another badge on the rear fascia that is (or ought to be) much more iconic: the model's name in M lettering with the M logo.

Different story with the i7's eDrive badge that needs to be insistently showcased nowadays...

For a fresh rookie around here , with most posts on this topic , I wonder if you are 12 or something...
So in your world if you are a rookie in this forum you are 12 ?what a stupid logic,im 20 btw and just found out about this great forum, and i comment on other threads also but hey thats your logic

The rear is weak sauce generic.
The height and extended rear bumper could be linked to a number of older Asian cars.
Posting comparisons like that doesn't speak well of your interpretation of design.
Two drops of water

Same thing happened with
Because they (all 7er) are all xDrive? No need the mention it.
Could it be that all the M PERFORMANCE are X, so it is cheaper to eliminate them because they are redundant?
Although I heard that the M240 RWD is coming next year, so I don't know, or will the S-Drive badge return... since they will be less and there it is clarified that all the others are X?

Are you already beginning to discriminate based on age?
Why don't you go away instead of screwing over new members with your disgusting trolling verbiage.
That is, according to you, if he is 12 years old he cannot participate in this thread?

He has not said anything here that is disrespectful and you speak disparagingly of ages?, you are surely an old man and we must tolerate you

Do not bother yourself

You don't have to be an expert in design to notice the basic similarities. It's quite obvious.
It's as obvious as they both have license plates on the bumper and taillights, basic similarities are all, like being two sedans

Is that a little camera in the BMW logo at 15 sec.? Anyone know, what it’s for? I hope it’s not the rear view parking camera, because placed like this, it’ll get dirty in no time and as a driver you don’t see much anymore.

That a 2 years old car is equally popular as the brand new kid on the block speaks volumes.

Plot twist:

For the new one yeah, already as established as "the king".
Your glass is half empty, mine half full. It's all a matter of perception.

Incoming MB fans:
Why the model is sitting on that ugly face

wHY iS shE not LOOKING aT teh caR!!!!!

I prefer a fresh rookie over an old troll

*hint hint*

I don't think anyone would fundamentally doubt a claim that you were at the Concorso d'Eleganza... I don't see anyone casting doubt on @tristatez28lt1 for making the same claim - but you'd do yourself a big favour if you either a) posted your own photo's, or b) stated the source for a photo that you otherwise clearly imply was yours.

As a side note, I'm curious to know who's VPN service you use?

I have to say, at €550 a ticket, pretending to go to the Concors d'Eleganza is a damn sight cheaper than actually going. However, I probably wouldn't then come to a forum and give a review of the car that I hadn't seen. If I did come back, the first thing I would do is offer irrefutable proof that I hadn't lied. Unless, of course, I wasn't in a position to do so.

Because they (all 7er) are all xDrive? No need the mention it.

The M3 and M4 comes in RWD and xDrive, and 4WD models don't get an xDrive badge.

Let me guess, it's your car, your girlfriend and you took the picture
* I couldn't resist

Btw, great picture, she beautiful, the car, imposing

Very funny.

Oh , the army of bimmer fan-girls-club arrived to defend....nothing

Chill girls , I like the new 7er. And I am one of the few...
