I wonder if the pre-facelift G70 is going to receive the 22 inch rims on the M Sport package and M Performance models?

Again, it already does get 22s:

Though it seems like these are M Performance wheels and I'm not sure how you order them -- are they even available on the normal configurator?

Of course 22" on a sedan is already massive (the 22s on the latest RS6 look too large) and you wouldn't imagine needing more, but the G70 itself is so massive that it seems like 23s might actually be beneficial, incredibly (it's the largest production wheel size currently offered on huge ass SUVs!). However the tirewalls are already super slim on the 22s and I can't imagine how you'd be able to swap these 22s for 23s all the while maintaining an identical overall wheel size -- it looks like they'd have to increase the tire diameter, but is that even technically possible on one and the same geneeation? Or perhaps there's enough room in the wheelarches for 23s, but then why wait for the LCI.

Yes a ton. The XM is really a monster. When I first walked in I thought it was the concept. Lots of gold detailing like on the first versions of the 8 coupe. Everything is brutal about the XM even the doorhandles, mirrors, exhaust (it has a fully real exhaust meaning four exits with four pipes), lighting (headliner, ambient, footwells), 23“ wheels, headlights, trunk is tiny though. I estimate 450L and high entry height due to the battery (80 km in e mode). Also pricing will max out around 230k and options will be kept simple as to not give the wealthy clients an insane amount of options and complicate the sales journey - one step towards D2C online agency model.
From what you saw, is the XM a direct competitor for the G63?

I know this version is part of the extended M family, but seriously, do these shift paddles with the plasticky / rubbery / Lego-like / old ping-pong racket-like red studded back sides belong in this interior? Should be aluminium, carbon, or at least plain grey/black plastic instead.

The largest alloy wheels on the regular customisation are up to 21 inch during this moment. But I am still waiting for the M760e to be release on the configuration to see how many rims are available.

I think there must be optional wheels just like they had with the G11/12 as aftermarket accessories. The main wheel catalog on the German web-site has not been updated for G70 yet. And that includes the necessary Winter options.

Will the M760e (as well as the i7 M70) receive the 22 inch alloy wheels as the actual options on a configuration? Not just in a field of the aftermarket (rims) accessories.

Does anyone have an idea why are BMW ditching the “xDrive” emblems from the rear of the recent M Performance models? The M760e does not have it and the LCI M340i/M340d are no longer exhibiting them.

Same thing happened with the X7 M60i xDrive.

They should come in configuration on June
