Maserati Press said:
Inspired by the Trofeo GranTurismo MC and the race-winning GT4 motorsport models, the new two-seater Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale that will debut at the Paris Auto Show 2010, will feature razor-sharp handling and will break the 300km/h barrier. The new car, the fastest, lightest and most powerful in the Maserati range, will go on sale in the first quarter of 2011. The GranTurismo MC Stradale produces more aerodynamic down force without producing more aerodynamic drag, it produces more power - 336kw, 450 hp - without using more fuel and it is more agile. A video of the new car will be available at the end of the month.

Looking good. Personally, I don't think the GranTourismo needs a lightweight, hardcore version, it is just too big to be a focused sports car.

WOW...
I adore this car..
And this MC version is just amazing:)

I would love to hear the exhaust note on this one. Maserati are expert on developing engines that produce all mighty sound.

OOOHHH......looks absolutely horrible!! WHat on earth have they done by ricing it up in this horrible way???? Yuu*****!

Errr....a 599 GTO isn't any smaller my man. Meaning, what you say makes no sense.

Go and check the numbers first before your post.

599 vs GranTurismo

Overall length:

4666 mm vs 4881 mm

Wheelbase:

2750.82mm vs 2942 mm

One was designed to be a 2 seater in the very beginning, the other was designed to be a 4 seater. In both cases, the 599 is approx 20cm shorter.

Overly done, looks 'messy' IMO...lost some of it's grace:eusa_doh:

Well after all that's Ferrari's "old" V8.

Man..the Italians knows design best on the planet!

Not that I'd disagree, but you're obviously biased. :D

Best regards,

This car was already drool-inducingly gorgeous. This just cranks it up another notch... The 'chin contrast' appears a bit odd in these photos, but put the car in red and it's spankin' time.

I think the GT S is perfect and one of the best looking 2+2 coupe out there. But this looks a bit overdone.

I agree, need to see this one in real life pics.

Damn. This car just keeps getting better. I can't wait for the next 5 years. This car (or variant) is gonna be quite cheap on the second hand market.

I wouldn't use the term 'cheap' and a Maserati that is out of warranty in the same sentence. :D

I never said cheap to maintain. But still, it's much better to pay $ intially and $$ for maintenance, than to pay $$$ intially and $$ for maintenance.

:t-cheers:

Love it. So this has the engine of the outgoing F430?
They are suppose to share the same engine block but that is about it. The Mazza's engine is 0.4L bigger, produce 30kW less but 45Nm more than the Ferrari F430.

The new front end looks pretty good from this angle.

This is such a hot design, no matter what version it is.
