Range Rover [Official] Gen 5 Range Rover

The Land Rover Range Rover, generally shortened to Range Rover, is a 4x4 luxury SUV produced by Land Rover. The Range Rover line has been in production since it was launched in 1970 by British Leyland.
Woah, spectacular. I do love everything about this car.

Seeing this, not sure what Jaguar has in store, but it must be really good in order not for TATA to just get rid of Jag and focus on LR.

JLR if we are being honest. TATA have a hands-off approach. They pay the bills and let them get on with it.
Correct, but I don't think that with BMW it would be very different, (before I thought it would), but actually you buy the expertise and its people, and I understand that it would rather benefit from it to apply it to the X5.
Disparate examples:
Volvo is still Volvo despite Gelly and because Gelly doesn't get involved in development, they just educate themselves.
Ford instead super-interventionist in Jaguar almost bankrupt it
BMW a middle ground with LR.
TATA as you say neither intervenes nor learns, just pays

focus on LR.
Actually it is exactly what is happening, three new models in less than a year, Defender, Discovery, and RR, if I'm not mistaken, It shows that LR has the focus and leaves the money, Jaguar is in the freezer until new notice

I don’t get this. How is this news? How is this tech different from say the G30 LCI tail lights or the F30 LCI tail signal indicators? Are those fiber optics?

The LEDs are turned backwards to shine against a mirror for the diffuse effect. The result with the blacked out parts is just spectacular.

I don't remember a time in the recent past were a JLR product received this level of positive appreciation. Job well done!

Now would be a great time for them to revisit that 2-door version. It would be the most sought after SUV on the market in a market full of hot, must have SUVs.

I wonder if it will be possible to service the BMW powered variant at a BMW dealer without voiding warranty.

I remember a while back that someone priced a part across the VAG line up. Which used the same part but the distance from Skoda’s 2€ all the way to Bugatti’s eye watering inflation for what is a universal small part.

10 years ago I needed a DSG transmission for a VW. Curiously exactly the same transmission was used by Skoda and from there its price as a spare part was 2000 Euro less. For the same part:facepalm:

After seeing some videos on ig I think I have come to appreciate the front and interior as well.

This SUV is a design slam dunk. Wow.

This is one of those rare videos from a manufacturer that is really truthful about design without a lot of BS. I'm not sure if this was posted. What they're saying here is exactly how Mercedes-Benz used to design their cars. Sigh.... Anyway, this is by far and away my favorite SUV not. I mean it's head and shoulders above anything else on the road right now for me.

It certainly intrigues with this exercise in minimal aesthetics in what they will accomplish with the Range Rover Sport?
deeper front grille? Bigger aerodynamics packet? Horizontal taillights?
