Is that read window really that long or is that tape?
What are the plans for the platform to be used on the upcoming Porsche Panamera ? Or is that platform actually Cayenne-based ?
How can a FWD platform (Audi modular) be used in a RWD car (Bentley)?
That growl sounds like V8 ... ???
Does anybody else think that they might be building the RS5/S5 right now along side the A5 so as to compete directly with the M3 when it is released. That might explain the V8 sound and quad pipes we've seen before on test models.
No decision has been made yet for the RS5 but according to my information the car is designed to take the 5.2 lt V10 under the hood.
From the looks, with the sholder-line
I think this is the most accurate ps, except for the nose-job.
If this car is fitted with the 5.2liter V10 in RS5 form, it most likely will kill it`s compeditors from AMG and M. I highly doubt the V10 will be fitted to this car.
The A5 is based on the A5 and can guarantee you that it will not house a V10.
The A5 is based on the A5?![]()
The A5 is the first car to use Audi's new modular architecture. Some people refer to it as B8 platform although that is wrong.
It doesn't matter what you can guarantee , the A5 will be able to fit the 5.2 lt V10 under the hood. Whether Audi will use it or not it's another story.![]()
I remember a couple of years ago when everyone was saying that A6 cannot take a V10 under the hood and that RS6 will have a turbocharged V8. How wrong they were...![]()
Except a car in Huckfeldt's CGI has like 22" wheels.
I'm eager to see Audi's strategy. Will they stick to strategy when putting V6 engines in TT & A3 performance versions, V8 in A4 & A5, V10 in A6, A7, V12 in A8 & Q7 (V12 TDI), while R8 will have V8, V10 & V12 TDI.
Or will they go AMG way with all the mambo-jumbo: putting V8 everywhere (in Audi's case V10).
V10 in RS5 will be an over kill. Sooner or later turbos will be used again ... So, V8 will be more than enough ...
By no means I hope this doesn`t cut your enthusiasm Yannis but I don`t believe Lamborghini will "mass-produce" the 5.2liter V10 for the upcoming
performance Audi models.
