Even though we're 2 days away from the reveal, I think I have seen enough to say this A8 will once again be another uninspiring Audi..

Despite my earlier ribbing, I am not ready to say that...yet.

My expectations for the exterior aren't exactly high. Despite all their chatter for a new design language, I don't see much difference except for 1) an even more prominent grille, 2) full width rear LED, and 3) a potentially eye-catching character line. That said, I have to see it entirely, without any blurry shots, Lichte's presence obscuring it, or questionably groping hands.

While I have some reluctances with the exterior, my expectations for the interior are much higher. The bits we've seen thus far seem high-quality and intriguing. I know it's been previewed in their recent concept cars, but I am curious how they are going to go about their MMI interface.

I can only conclude that you are speaking from a purely biased perspective.
This new car looks like it will be stunning. I am already expecting it to be my new favourite large German car.

It can be Russian hackers, it can be Chinese hackers, or it could some be 400 lb. hacker on his bed in New Jersey who can release the relevant info on the A8.

Quite a bit better than I had hoped for. Appearing leaner and more sinewy than its' direct competitors.

I like it. Diehard M-B S-Class and BMW 7 series fans will most probably remain less impressed. So be it.

I am that M-B diehard fan and I must say that I like it, imo it`s on par with the S and 7 and as always with the A8 I`m impressed with the interior. I`ve always loved more the interior of A8 than the 7er and same is the case here. But, I know that the exterior will start very quickly to be boring for me as it was always the case with the Audis. I think that the A6 managed to remain interesting.
