I cant wait for a 12 cylinder battle between the German trio - the M760i will win hands down based on the drive - the S65's RWD will probably lose out when handlings concerned, and the Audis FWD platform is already set up to fail

I wouldn't discount the A8 so soon, especially since the M760i isn't the be all end all of dynamism.

Yet the next S8 will likely smoke all of them.

S8 is sportier and is equipped with a V8. A8 W12 will be more luxurious, but has the drawback of the "W" form of the engine block and the inferior balance that comes with it. So it has to show something more in order to be competitive to the other two.

It's S600 vs Audi A8 W12 and S63 vs S8 vs M760i. I mean S600, Audi W12 and S65 are for customers that want to brag about how they got 12 cylinders and others are peasants for having 8 and less cylinders. S63 is far better than S65.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
