Go ahead K-A with the most outstanding post of today! You make a very good case for Apple.
C'mon my good friend! Get on the good side here!![]()
^I might just have to get one soon. These HP's (my current and last few laptops) are horrible. Good for a while and then error after error.
You mean "slide to unlock" feature (My Nexus has many options including a face unlock or a drawn pattern)? Or the icons are round or squared? Or pinch to zoom? You need to patent those? They look nothing alike.
This is the same company that launches a new phone or OS with things dumb phones were able to to do (send a file via Bluetooth-they still can't), or things that were already there if you jailbroke your phone and call it a new feature??
Then when Apple comes up with a penta-band phone, they'll sue Google for already having one. They'll probably do the same with NFC.
That's like MB telling other automakers not to use ABS, Airbags, electronic keys, etc... 'cause they came up with them.
Maybe you need to invest in GOOG. Diversify my friend.

It's just unfortunate that these litigations generate negative PR. Unfortunately the mass public doesn't seem to know what "Intellectual Property" means and that even if it affects their selfish consumer choices, it's law and justified for someone to protect it.
Yeah. The common mass thinks it only about design which isn't the case. There's more to the ordeal than just physical attributes of the gadgets. There are software patents which have been violated. Even Microsoft have successfully taken Anroid manufacturers to court and now receive royalties from HTC, Motorola and Samsung.
Google are evil. They developed an open source OS which they are offering for free and its the manufacturers taking the hit for selling "stolen goods", which is what Android is since its quite a mash of software technologies borrowed from a steam of different companies.
Definitely check it out. What made me an Apple-believer was during the "PC era" of booming Laptops. Windows products were utter disasters, virus watches, 3rd party "watchdogs" having to be installed, etc. The Macbook is bulletproof, and so lovely to use. If it weren't for Apple, I'll tell you one thing from firsthand experience, artists couldn't create like they have. Musicians will only touch Apple, and DJ's will only spin using Apple hardware, for good reason. The demise of the Macbook (if it ever does come) won't hurt Apple the business at all (if they drop it it's only because it will have been dead weight for them), but it'll impact the artist community big time.
