Iphone 6

Ok I have a proper questions for the iphone users on this forum, do you find Siri useful at all, how often do you use it? I have "google now" on my phone but I never use it.

Not at all. I am always annoyed when I press the home button for too long and Siri pops up...It's still way too early to talk to a computer imo. They don't make any sense at all yet.

I use it almost daily for one purpose only: handsfree driving directions. It is pretty handy WHEN it works, although in my experience the mighty iPhone stops working exactly at the moment I need it most. Once a while I also use it to read my messages and to reply when I am in the car. While it can get a bit cumbersome depending on the length of messages, it is usually spot on.

The Iphone has been BENDING down to the Samsung too much!o_O:notworthy:

Is it true lots of people were fooled by that "wave" ad?

Never really bothered to use Siri when I had an iPhone 5S. But I find myself using Google Now a lot on the Nexus 5. Every time I search for something, I get related stories/links to it on cards. It also tells me how my sport teams are doing. When my favorite TV shows are. It even tells me how long I've walked each month.

Well Siri hasn't been working right on my phone since I downloaded iOS 7. But when I did use it, I used it monthly.

thanks this is an interesting video showing how the iPhone devices have increased in size and abilities in the last 7 years since the first generation came out

I think they have totally over blown this problem with the Iphones bending. It can be a common thing with any new phone that is put in a back pocket and a person has to sit on it. Probably the complaints came from overweight fat burger eaters!!LOL

Why Get a Wrap When You Can Buy DMC’s 24 Karat Gold iPhone 6

The days when you’d buy a car and then simply drive it are obviously over, as almost every new car owner at least gets new wheels, if not changes his ride’s color or shape. But nowadays even that habit changed, only to make room for yet another custom feature: auto tuners making anything from watches to phones. It’s the case of German DMC custom shop who have recently unveiled their 24 Karat Gold iPhone 6.
Limited to only 88 units, the high-end phone is fully encased in pure gold and garnished with some sort of shiny stones, most likely Swarovski crystals. The Dusseldorf-based auto shop posted an album of their new “custom” iPhone 6 on Facebook, without really giving any details about its features, nor its price.

As far as we can tell, it would seem there is more than one model to be created, as not all the phones pictured have the stones. For those interested in buying one of the phones, we’ll gladly remind you about a similar luxury iPhone 6 that will also hit the market. Only thing we hope is that it won't turne out to be as expensive at that one.

Apple recently announced they’ve commissioned British jeweler Alexander Amosu to design a unique model of the company’s newest smartphone. Handset with over 6,127 brilliant cut diamonds, it will take two months to make and will cost about the same as you’d need to by three hybrid supercars, the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1, all together.

But don’t you worry, there is yet another opulent smartphone in development which will cost even more. The smartphone edition built by US-based company Falcon is split into two separate collection named “Bespoke” and “SuperNova,” a total of 21 customized versions of the iPhone 6. The cheapest one will cost $2.25 million, while the top-of-range comes for $48.5 million. Yes, $48.5 million.

why anyone would get a gold/bejeweled phone is beyond me, especially if you plan on upgrading in a year or two. This fickle wastefulness is just absolutely ridiculous.

Is it me, or has the whole bendy issue and iOS8 buggy kerfuffle taken quite a bit a wind out of the sails? I know they did have record orders, but the hype is doesn't seem as sustained.

Bendgate had the wind taken off its sails, as far as I can tell, following scientific reports and pro-apple blogs that competition has similar or worse bend limits. Apple clearly went in the offensive behind the curtains.

I am happy holding on to my 5, as it outperformed almost everything in bend tests. The iOS 8 has made the phone a breeze to use again (keyboard much better mostly). And the phone is quite a looker now compared to the unremarkably designed 6.
