One thing you have to give Apple credit for, is their own silicon. Every year, they consistently manage to blow away Qualcomm & Samsung when it comes to performance/efficiency of their own chips. Not long to go before Apple stops relying on Intel too.

And if we are to talk about real world everyday performance then Apple is the absolute benchmark in that regard, they smoke everyone.

Fair test, but it's not conclusive. There are many areas where the Android UI makes it easier and quicker and less laborious perform simple and frequent actions:

-Sharing images: I can look at any photo in the gallery or browser, tap share and it will show me recent contacts in Facebook and WhatsApp whom I can share it with instantly.
-Switching of location services: On Android all it requires is a swipe down from the top and tap. On iPhone you have to navigate to settings.
-Automatically syncing login details from your Desktop chrome history.
-Recommending email addresses from your desktop chrome history when filling in forms on your phone.
-Search for anything. I just hold down the home button and a search bar opens.
-Back button: Makes it easier to go back to anything without having to move your thumb or a finger all the way to the top left corner.
-Image URL: On android I can press down on an image and click 'Copy image URL'. It's god sent for forum posing.
-Dismissing your alarm a minute or two before it is about to go off.
-Calling someone I'm texting. When I read a message from someone and want to call them. I can just put the phone to my ear and it will call them.

This is just an example of many things on the Galaxy that require fewer steps than on an iPhone and thus make it a very quick device to use.

That's android vs ios usability luw, but as far as golbal real usage performance, the test is conclusive.

Got a 7 a few days ago just because my contract was up and not because of any real need for a new phone. What an utter disappointment. It looks virtually identical to the 6, I can't tell the difference, and is not tangibly better in any respect for what I use on a day to day basis. I fail to see the point of the 7.

Whoever is upgrading from 5/5S will be able to tell how much faster it operates. For us 6/6S owners, it's more of a cosmetic update from the inside with all the hype that you have to accept (in order to not get assaulted, provoked or even decapitated) from all over the internet and iPhone fans that will tell you how awesome everything is about the 7, starting with the way it feels (Jet Black) :nopity:

I have a 6s right now and after having experienced the 7 in a store I can't exactly say I want one, as it feels mostly the same in use, and is identical in looks.

I'll wait for the 7s or even 8.
