The 7er looks really modern and fresh!!!
Until you see one right next to the W222...!!!!

But the angle of the shot is in favor of the W222 in those shots. Not that it matters overly much.

I think this angle shows the S-class best in my opinion, very sleek.


IMO only the XJ competes with the S-class on the side on view.

I actually still think the S-class is superior to the XJ from this angle mainly because its creases along its flank hid its bulk best making it look athletic.

The XJ's soft on the eye in side profile, harmonious integration of the coupe profile, very short front overhang, muscular fenders and wheels fitting snug in their arches, sporty meets luxurious charm . One continious harmony.

The S-class has a 'break' in harmony from front to rear, rear can look like a afterthought? Maybe a liitle bit too British!?

The A8 looks like it has a 4.75m front overhang, I suppose it could beat em all in a typical EU-NCAP full frontal crash @ 6 Stars

F01 7er comes in 2nd place for side profile IMO. Long nose, purposeful and strong+sporty design.

What are you guys talking about. The profile is pure unadulterated S-class.

XJ looks like a barge and I simply don't get it's appeal. A8 and then the 7 any day please.

I mean, there's nothing pretty about the XJ. The side lacks a proper C pillar.

^I have to agree I really don't see anything wrong with the look of the LS. I guess it's just that I find the other so much more aggressive and creative, plus we have seen this same type of body style on the LS for a while.
