A nicely specced 7-Series feels great everywhere. The W222 feels better I agree but that doesn't make the 7-Series crap.

Im not saying that the ZF box is shit, its great. but still the matter of fact is that MB make their own boxes.
Better or worse is nothing we can decide before the 9G is out.
But you can sure as hell agree that its way easier to buy boxes from ZF rather than making your own.

And no the picture i posted of that rear vent area is not nice, and you can not spec that away sorry

Nothing will ever take over the S-Classes Spot in the Super Luxo Sedan segment. It has been King and it always be. The S class basically defined Mercedes.

anyway guys it is not fair to compare the new king (W222) with these cars ,, i think W221 is enough if someone want compare lets bring bentley and RR .

Its going to be interesting to see what the next 7er has to offer.
No doubt BMW will turn the heat up a notch or two... ( as will every other car in this class.)

I don`t think it will go as far as the S because the 7er would be head butting with the RR Ghost. On top of that these type of cars and their class (Rolls Royce Ghost and Bentley FS) is not what one would expect BMW to offer...
