The M3 is my least favorite.

The nose is a washout and the rear is kind of stupid looking. I really hate how the tiny tail pipes are squeezed together.. like thay are clinched up in the rear diffuser. Very bad design imo.

Lol..Exactly! The M3 is about as pretty as a limited edition Honda Civic. Sure it looks sporty, but not much to look at beauty wise.

BTW..I can't wait for the RS5 to come to the US. Just hope the facelift doesn't get the crying headlights like the A8.

Well then I guess one of these would be appropriate?

Thats right. The M3 is all about the "function-factor"
Hopefully the next generation will get it right with beauty and function.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With the CS wheels and the right color its one of the hottest cars out there.
My favorite is Lemansblue or frozen grey together with CS wheels :icondrool

The RS5 just needs to come to the U.S. so I can drive it.

It needs to come to U.S. so I can own it! Late 2012 just seems like such a long time from now.

Well it looks sporty and possibly exciting, but I just not Beautiful in my eyes. Maybe it's the grill and the cut line about the headlights. BTW...Neither is the C63 AMG.

Yes, I agree. The M3 isn't a beautiful car in the classic sense. But I believe that it it's a good looking car in the sense that it's a handsome and powerful looking machine.

It's like me, I'm not beautiful but damn am I good looking. ;)

Sporty cars are not supposed to look beautifull. They're supposed to look sporty and agressive.

I disagree, sporty cars can and should look beautiful. The only reason why some don't, like with the case of the M3 is that it's basic design isn't that beautiful either, it's a practical shape as most cars of this type which includes the A4 and C-class but the A5 shape is different in that it is beautiful and the RS treatment hasn't taken anything away, it's improved on it in combining beauty with aggression.

The M3 reminds me a lot of the GTR, it's shape has come about through function, everything from it's bonnet bump to it's wing mirrors to the very shape of it's rear exhaust box has a purpose. This may well make it beautiful in the eyes of some but to me it's a combination of things designed to make it perform but it isn't pretty in the true sense of the word.

Ferrari can make function still look wonderful but they are the exception and even then they too don't always get it right.

Love the M3, gotta act fast now. I so wish the RS5 was here now in the U.S. so I could compare them.
