The most ludicrous/worst interior of all time

^I agree on the color. However, unlike the Austin, the BMW at least is better place to sit in(a lot more welcoming and better made IMO)

Agreed the new 4 series is by far a better place to spend your time all I was highlighting was the fact that manufacturers are still continuing to use this awful brown colour. Does this 4 series not look a million times better.

And I'm not even a fan of red. All I'm saying is dump the brown.

Here comes an example from the company I work for, and a current one at that ...The god-awful interior of the Toyota Prius+(aka the Prius V)....Nasty plastics galore, hideous layout, ergonomics (or the lack thereof) and a hugely outdated digital speedometer (who makes digital speedometers anymore anyway? That crap looks like a cheap Casio watch from the late 80's/early 90's...Ok, I will seriously stop stop right now, to avoid barfing my guts out in the next minute or two :poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::bag::bag::bag::bag::bag:

yeah, the Prii's interiors are long-in-the-tooth. They look like something a futurist in 1980's would think of what a car's interior would look like now.

This.... Not to mention, all the other interiors I previously pointed out in this thread were more affordable cars of the past decades (except for the MISERABLE Vector W8), but the Prius+ is;
1) a car currently in production
2) NOT cheap (at 30k+ Euros it is BMW 3-series money)
So, all things considered, including the price and etc...This might just be the worst interior currently in the market (not of all time, for me, that title still belongs to the Vector W8:p)

Did they just use a piece of yellow tape to put their brand name on a Mark I Ford Focus steering wheel?

Back to my least favorite interior of all times (the Vector W8, that is), has anyone else noticed that the steering wheel is not directly in front of the driver? That's surely got to be annoying to hold the steering wheel at an angle, at all times

PS..I also noticed that the door sill so damn wide that the only way to get into the car without ripping your boxer briefs apart is to "jump" in feet first..

Oh, I found something good about the interior (if you can name it as a positive at all)...It seems to have been designed for maximum passenger access to the front of the driver's pants. Surely bodes well with the time the car was introduced; coke tested, 80's approved

and this, how could this not be remembered.

I disagree. I think that maritime theme by BMW Individual looked very inviting.

I have to disagree on this one. I quite liked the BMW 7 series Yatchline from BMW Individual. Captured the maritime look nicely.

....and they also did one with the Z4. Very nice for the theme they were going for.

Steering wheel is horrible, so as that 30cm gearbox knob. No central tunnel on sedan/limousine?

This one was designed and made by lumberjack with an axe? Not a single curve. Grey plastic is horrible.

As far as I know the first row of this Ford was also available with seats for driver and two passengers.
Maybe for this reason it was renounced to equipped the car with a central tunnel.

:)
