Not a worthy Lamborghini perhaps, but not sure if it is amongst the worst cars of all time
This to me is the worst car ever, and the owners usually aren't that great either.
I still maintain the Volkswagen Beetle as THE worst car ever made.
Ugly, slow, noisy, smelly, embarrassing to be seen in and Beetle fans tend to be douchebags.
But the remake dubbed "New Beetle" wasn't much better either and it was a far cry from being a "people's car" as it was quite expensive.
It wasn't fun to drive either; the 2.0 8 valve engine was totally inadequate for it and the car simply made no sense at all of existence as the Golf was a much practical and less pretentious car costing surprisingly less.

Strong disagree. The original Beetle was such a wonderfully packaged car, rear engine rear drive meaning no driveshaft going thru the interior taking up space 20 years before the FWD Mini. I drove a Beetle a few years ago and the shifter and steering were both so delightful to use. No power steering so tons of road feel but still light due to no weight over the front wheels.I still maintain the Volkswagen Beetle as THE worst car ever made.

The New Beetle is a totally different car and is just a rebodied Golf/caricature of the original and I agree it is no good lol.
