That's a Q3. But yes I agree it looks promising. Hope this works out for the best- we know the interior will look great since it's basically the C-class design.

You kidding? LOL, oops...:D Wonder why i didn't recognize it straight away...

I like the Larson rendering. Of course this means that MB is humbly admitting that Audi had it right with the Q5, and that the GLK's squarish design was a mistake.

It should also be noted that the X5 price went up. A 2wd now cost as much as an AWD used to. And I heard that they are pushing 2wd. A mistake IMO. BMW has pushed the X5 more upscale and then positoned the X3 to take on other mid-sized luxuries. I think MB should follow suit. The GLK should be positioned to compete more with the Lexus RX. That thing has no business being cross shopped with an X5 or ML.

This all depends on the market, the 6 cylinder ones went up in price and they introduced a lower priced 4 cylinder diesel option.

Mercedes GLK 63 AMG in the works, will use a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 - report

Engine will be used across the rear-wheel drive lineup

Mercedes' new twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine will debut in the AMG GT but it will eventually spread across their lineup.

We've already reported it will be used in the new C63 and E63 AMG but Car & Driver is reporting it will also power an AMG variant of the 2015 / 2016 GLK. Even further down the road, we can expect the engine to be used in the ML, GL and S63 AMG.

There's no word on what these cars will be rated at but the AMG GT S will have an output of 510 PS (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. There will also be an entry-level variant that produces approximately 462 PS (340 kW).

They must have a higher output version on this V8 in the works for the next generation E and S AMG models. 510hp isn't going to cut it. A C63 S with 510hp however, will kill the segment on power. Transmission and handling need to be right in order to bring it all together.

Like the off road version of the C-class? It might end up looking good, like the GLA.

It looks much bigger than the current GLK, almost as big as the last ML. Interior looks good but almost identical to C-class which is a good thing in one way but I would have liked it to be more unique.

i agree with Merc1..

but i don't think its the correct interior pictures.
its too C-class, like identical to the screw. i just think its not true.
even the interior colour doesn't match the spied car...
