The BMW 8 Series is a range of grand tourer coupes and convertibles produced by BMW. The 8 Series was introduced in 1990 under the E31 model code and was only available as a two-door coupé. The E31 was discontinued in 1999 due to poor sales. The model range was later reintroduced in 2018 with the second generation, G15 8 Series. It launched in coupé (G15), convertible (G14), and four-door Gran Coupé (G16) body styles, as the successor to the F06/F12/F13 6 Series lineup.

“BMW Group #NEXTGen” at BMW Welt in Munich, from 25 to 27 June 2019. The event is also live-streamed publicly. Apart from world premieres of new models, the focus will above all be on the latest state of technological developments from all D+ACES levels of the company: Design, Autonomous Driving, Connectivity, Electrification, Services.
This sounds promising. A concept? I hope they'll show it at this June event already. Otherwise we will have to wait for the next major autoshow (Frankfurt in September or LA in November?). I was told the PR statement on curved cockpit display in iNext from a few weeks ago was not just a random message. More of a teaser then? We'll have to wait for another 14 days to be sure.

M2 CS I can get behind, but the X5 M being a special over the M8 Competition? I think not. And really, the M2 CS is no logical special over the M8 either. Despite being way cooler and more desireable (for me) .

It is inappropriate to enter in comparisons with the 6GC simply because a new model will always have the advantage of freshness.
Now, having the level so high with the 6GC and being one of the most beautiful sedans built by any brand, it is remarkable that they have managed to do it again, this 8GC and with the few available photos is more than precious, mentally eliminate from the photo that fool standing there, and wow, the proportions, the profile line, how well rounded the interior, and finally presented in a nice and sensible color, and that we have not yet seen anything but leaks.
