Perfect age to drive a fine W222Today is my 37th birthday and the official broschure is a great gift. Welcome W222!
Official brochure was in the mail today:
I hope you don't mind, but I think that it would be great if you edited your posts to switch out/replace your currently uploaded photos with each of these watermarked photos below, in order to prevent any websites from taking credit from you for these photos(especially Auto Spies). Thanks again for all of these brochure scans and welcome to German Car Forum!

It's a german brochure and in Germany 245 17" come as standard (as it was the case with W 221 as well)245 section tires. We are going thinner, I see. I hope Sport models retain their 255/275 config (or go 255/285).

That's the way business is done with German customers; standard trim is cloth (allways has been the case in Germany), standard rims 17"4. CLOTH IN THE STANDARD TRIM??? IN THE S CLASS??? I've never seen any S (since W140) without leather.
I am a bit disappointed with few things:
1. V6 Diesel power. It seems unchanged, and... a bit small, don't you think? I really hoped MB will enhance it's diesels.
2. Weight of the car. Almost 2 tons. I expected it to be less
3. Trunk space: 510 (350CDI, 400HYBRID) and 530 (500) liters. W221 has 560 liters, and W212 has 540.
4. CLOTH IN THE STANDARD TRIM??? IN THE S CLASS??? I've never seen any S (since W140) without leather.
Interesting to see that there are 2 types of LED headlights: LED High Performance and LED Intelligent Light System.
Anthrazitblau is my choice![]()
Meilensammler, please ensure piracy protection against Auto Spies, as I do NOT want them to take any credit from you.
The clock might be ticking quickly for the world premiere of the all new, and very important for a number of reasons, 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan, at a special event in Hamburg, Germany, next week on Wednesday, May 15 (watch the reveal live here), but the internet never rests…
On top of all the other official and unofficial leaks ranging from the front-end picture of the luxury full-size sedan to images of a toy die-cast model, we now have a brochure of the W222-codenamed Mercedes S-Class, courtesy of a reader of the Germancarforum.
2-tons for a S500 is pretty good for this class. Only the XJ would be lighter, if that is right?
Yeap, another world first for our forum, thanks Meilensammler.-
Looks like someone made the news!@Meilensammler
