K-A, let me save you the trouble

Hate the reverse wedge line dropping into nowhere
The design is insta date and not timeless like F01
Is not as good as the F01 as Mercedes do not invest as much into R&D
Will drive like a 10 year old taxi when compared to the 7 series
Mercedes will continue to decline despite the release of this car

No need to thank me K-A, Happy to help!

^Do you have the R&D numbers for BMW and Mercedes?

Artist, you misunderstood my post, I wrote this "on behalf" of K-A, to highlight his illogical criticism of M-B, if you read the FIRST and the LAST line of my post, it will clarify what I am REALLY trying to say.

Hah i see.. :) my bad..

Still if someone can pull out some R&D numbers it would be interesting to read, IN ANOTHER THREAD:D

From the hideous design of the S (lines everywhere), it's plainly obvious MB does not spend as much on R&D as BMW. :poop:

Wondering which details we cannot yet make up from the pictures, which will pop when the whole vehicle is revealed 2 months from now.

You missed "clunky headlights".

Your sarcasm is weak, that's why he didn't get it. ;)

Actually it's when you drive a Mercedes back to back with a BMW (S VS 7 excluded) that it seems like BMW puts forth more R&D than Mercedes. I know it's offensive to M-B fanboys to hear that, though. :joyful:

You missed "clunky headlights".

The car has not been revealed yet but you already know that the headlights are clunky. You have obviously used your "amazing powers of perception" to pronounce them clunky.

The same amazing powers of perception that you use to look at photos of crash tests and then decide how safe a car is.

As for your childish remark about BMW putting forth more R&D than Mercedes, go the Mercedes Lounge and see the thread that Wolfgang started about R&D spending for different companies.

Lol. Yes, we humans all have "amazing powers of perception". That's why spy-pic threads go thousands of posts of speculation.

Wow, you can't figure out how safe a car is by looking at crash test results? Yikes! Get those perception skills intact!

Of course, I said "drive both and it would SEEM BMW are putting forth more R&D". Of course, I just had an E-Class and now its closest rival and know first hand how these bread and butter models compare. Maybe you know better than I do on this. I digress.

Just to clarify K-A, you are making this claim based on "back-to-back" driving experience and not through factual evidence?

YES! Nowhere did I say "BMW spends more on R&D than Mercedes".

I said if you drive both it would APPEAR that BMW spends more, because in my opinion and experience now, they make better products.

I haven't once said that the W222 will be a piece of crap or anything near that, technologically. I expect this to be the best engineered true-Luxury-Car of all time. "Anything less would be uncivilized".

Fair enough. If this is the case, then i fail to understand why the other members are giving you so much shit. You're just stating YOUR OPINION and NOT SOMETHING FACTUAL.

THANK YOU! It's like a pack of sensitive M-B fan E-wolves jumping on every word I say here lately.

I never once implied that I have actual data that BMW spends more. I'm just a guy who went from two W212's to an F10 and is very involved in the process of dissecting both. When I sit in both cars, drive them, see what each offer, it feels like one is worth more money. Hence "If you drove both you would THINK that BMW spends more on R&D". The amount of crap I've gotten for this is hilarious, considering the context of why and how I'm saying it.

I didn't even post in this thread for a long time, until my "name" got dragged in here by the M-B faithful. Why "complain" about what I'm saying by egging me on to further validate it?

While I agree K- A can state his opinions....
I really don't see Why every Mercedes thread has to have his opinion on how poor Mercedes Design is...how Poor Mercedes Drive is...How Poor Mercedes quality or so on.etc etc etc.....

I think we all know that he now prefer BMW and that's great its a individual choice and we all happy for his new BMW 5 series and congratulations to him.

Anyways I hope we can have one thread to K-A and his love for BMW and his HATE lol for MB...

Hey I didn't talk about the W222 in this thread for a while my friend. Tell it to the guys who are sensitive to the point where they have to keep attacking my opinions by bringing it up randomly or purposefully misinterpreting it, like what happened in this very thread. ;)
