^ The taillights look like they are from the previous generation C Class.
Maybach range start from the 400 range in the S class. The new E will like start at 400 tooWOW, I can't believe it. Can we get the V12 with this too lol?

Guys, this is not an E Maybach, but the V213 for the Chinese market. Just like the V205.
I don't expect Daimler to launch more Maybach models so soon. They surely will wait and see how the S Maybach performs. Next Maybach could be the GLS or S Coupé but not the E.
Let's hope so. But if so, then the Chinese are really getting a good deal of because Mercedes is offering them not just a merely longer e class but an e class with maybach like differentiation from the lwb sGuys, this is not an E Maybach, but the V213 for the Chinese market. Just like the V205.

The giveaway is the reshape c pillar. The Chinese love for long cars has been understated. I think it is a good strategy if this is what Mercedes is aiming for.I would say there is more going on than just an extended E-Klasse. It makes you wonder if the plan is for the extended China only E-Klasse to be called a Maybach? Therefore exclusive to China but exempt for the rest of the world where it possibly would not be as successful?
I'd love to see them mass market not just China, I can see limo hire companies picking these up en masse in a hybrid model.
