C-Class (W205) [Spyshots] 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) Spy Photos

The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which was produced by Daimler AG between 2014 and 2021. The W205 C-Class was preceded by the W204 C-Class and superseded by the W206 C-Class. The fourth-generation C-Class was available in sedan (W205), station wagon/estate (S205), coupe (C205), cabriolet (A205) and long-wheelbase sedan (V205) body styles.

The whole interior atmosphere would change with a different integration of the nav screen. The central console does not look bad, the air vents and the trim look nice too, and the steering wheels is fine as well.

But that stupid screen ruins everything. Damm, not even as a screen does it look good, with all those thick borders. BMW´s free floating screens are not my cup of tea either, but at least don´t look this cheap.

The best solution I´ve seen is the Z4´s perfect integration of the nav screen. THAT is the route to follow for the small-mid sized cars.

What makes you believe that photo is the real deal... look at the sources. 99% of what AutoBild posts are ps jobs.

Because it might be computer enhanced, but 95% is real. From a real photo.

But yea we'll see. I really hope the next C will have a pretty interior, because the exterior looks so promising.

Hartmut Sinkwitz (Director Interior Design Passenger Cars) has so far done great job. If you are asking me, I wouldn't worry at all about interior quality.

As far as the styling goes, the beauty is in the eye of a beholder. I don't mind iPad-like screen, but I'm not a big fan of it either. My fav is Audi A6/A8 screen, not because of its mechanism (I hate that buzzing sound it makes), but because it can simply be hidden, and out of your sight. Call me old-fashioned, but I don't like screens in cars whatsoever. They are necessary, we do need them, but since we don't need them all the time - please make them fold-able.

This render obviously doesn't present all the chrome surfaces that can be seen even in prototypes. I don't think piano-black trim will look exactly like this, it would be weird for it not to have same lines as A, and especially, CLA. We'll see.

Damn, the S Class has moved the bar so high... it will be almost impossible for other cars (especially in lower-segments) to look luxurious enough.

Let's wait and see guys. If all the buttons, levers, switches, etc are metal like the S class and the upper part of the dash has stiched leather, the final impression will be different. You can see many metal bits in the spy shots, so there are good hopes for the finished interior, alotugh the "add on" screen still looks a bit tacky

I was truly impressed by the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz S-class. The overall style is debatable, but the attention to detail and craftsmanship are benchmark quality. This is all the more remarkable as Mercedes interiors often were considered one of the brand’s weak spots in the past—a point which chief designer Gorden Wagener readily concedes. But those times are over: “We will build the best interiors, a class ahead of the competition, in every segment from now on. You will see it in the next C-class and E-class,” Gorden tells me.

Jesus do i see a straight line and not a dropping one?

Mercedes what's going on?

You sure it´s not the angle? To me it seems like it´s dropping but in a more graceful way, that that much as in the CLA for example. The Autobild render shouws it pretty good.

Apparently, next C Coupe will be know as - you've guessed it - CLK.

I love Mercedes, and I could always distinguish their monikers, but for f#ckS sake, can't they be consistent for once?!?!?!

And why will they retire the CL and call it S Coupe, when they will bring back CLK instead of C Coupe? What's more, the E Coupe will probably be know as CLE.

All this info is from no one other than Georg Kacher.
