True. The E 43 (and maybe the GLC 43) is still rumored to he first to have 401 PS. The C43 got the 9G, though.

If that were to happen, one wonders what place the standard C63 would have in the lineup. A 400HP C43 with AWD, arguably better fuel economy and lower insurance rates will seem like a better proposition to many buyers.

All the more reason to stop this silly tiered C63 nonsense. Just offer one C63 with 503hp and call it a day. I would be that the S versions outsells the base versions on just about all models that offer both.
