I would think the next C, even if it look similar to the CLA inside, would be slightly better in material quality and have whatever new features Mercedes will have for 2015. Hard to believe that Mercedes would go backwards with the interior on the next C, but that tacked on screen is a huge mistake IMO. If you can wait until late Dec/early Jan we will know what the next C looks like, as it will be shown (at least to the press) at Detroit.

Oh I will wait for sure. If the next C looks good, I will wait to the end of 2014 , if not I would consider the CLA.

Man, my hopes for a mini-S will have to remain for the exterior but god damn, that interior looks WORSE than the CLA.

concerning the interior i do not think the screen will be positioned as in the A class. MB made a mistake last time and they had to revamp the C class interior (especially the screen) for the facelift. They should not make the same mistake this time.

Uh. The screen position was actually very similar pre- and post facelift. It was still high up on the dash in the driver's field of vision. The interior was redone so heavily because it clearly didn't have the same design language as the E and S-class and the materials were subpar. The freestanding screen isn't a mistake at all- The G-class was actually the first one to get it in the states.

It is like they have took all the money for the interiors and stick it in the new S-class and the C suffers from this. But Let´s wait maybe when it´s official realesed it will look better.

Who knows, when it's finished it may look good.

Not sure I am into the shapes. They're going very organic again.

Sssshhht...Oh sh!t:facepalm: Lord have mercy!:dead:

I don't believe mercedes would do such a horrible thing right afer terrific S-class interior. Crossing my fingers for this one

It is entirely understandable why they go this route, the BMW 3er gets plaudits for its minimalism , not over focusing on lots of switchgear just pure simplicity. And Mercedes are following suit

Nice try at an attempt to troll the MB C-Class thread there. Not only did you manage to get a "BMW gets plaudits...." comment in, but you also implied MB are copying BMW.

I hope you at least get extra paid for this. Otherwise, it's pathetic.

I really dislike the interior of F20 and F30. It is to whole opposite of minimalism. Example of minimalism would be the new Quattroporte or the old 7 Series E65. F20/F30 interior is like Japanese: disordered.
