@Merc1 what's better, S sedan, S coupe or this?

The interior is stunning. This is the interior the SLS should have had, it completely fits the premium directive a Mercedes should always be. I gotta see the exterior to know if this is better than the S Coupe. I have a feeling life for the SL is going to be this much harder though. Yes I know they aren't the same type of car, but still buyers will cross shop these two in the same space.

The S-Class has 4, the S-Coupe has 4. I'm expecting the 4 air-vent motif to be consistent amongst MB's higher-end offerings. Where is the "one more air vent" you speak of?

SLC blows the F-Type's interior out of the water. It looks a bit sad inside the Jag right now.

I agree the Jag interior looks so boring and plain, the Porsche although still looks great inside.

WOW the interior is EPIC this is something great Mercedes Is on a flier these days...I have sat in a 911 Porsche recently and as for interior no ways can Porsche match this we already know the quality of Porsche interior is not on par of MERCEDES this is stunning and I am sure quality will be up their as the Mercedes are these days...

I think the gear lever if it was buttons would have been a bit better suited to this cockpit like interior.

There indeed looks to be a sunroof in there. Do you think it will be a closed-off panorama roof or an actual portion that opens? Where would the inner trim of the sunroof roll to? The back window? Or is it a soft material that rolls onto itself? The type of "handle" does not support this. It is amusing to me what the execution could be like.

You all know a convertible version of this will hit the market a year after the coupe. Mercedes is in the habit of saying that it is not possible, but it is almost a given. The SL cannibalization angle does not hold water too much.

As for AMG - sales are absolutely flying and the new products keep coming. We were told that the new 911-sized rival will be called the GT, and then some interior shots were flashed up on a screen. I've never heard normally modest engineers so bullish about a car. They asked me about the F-Type Coupe, politely listened to my positive comments then, fit to burst, kept saying "Wait 'til you drive the GT, just wait 'til you drive the GT." Ready when you are chaps. That goes for the C63, which I'm told is a complete weapon.
