Guys, isn't it time for an official thread?

We have a press release and official pics, I say it's time for an MB fan to create an official thread!

Marvelous interior, but...... why are the buttons inside on the ceiling/roof of the car with hazard light, looking so cheap? I could be mistaken, but how I see it, they're made of normal black plastic. I'd expect in this car aluminium buttons. These ones look like pre FL E-Klasse buttons :-(

Seriously?

Ah so, a better pic. :)

It's in a spot you will ONLY look when you have to actually use one of the buttons, and it's surrounded by suede. Trust me, you'll be alright when you touch it!

But then again I like Bimmers where every single button is made of plastic :D

The S-Class has 4, the S-Coupe has 4. I'm expecting the 4 air-vent motif to be consistent amongst MB's higher-end offerings. Where is the "one more air vent" you speak of?

For some reason I feel that these four air vents kind of dominate the interior. Very bold parts.

I find the very same four air vents of the S sedan and coupe to be more subtly integrated in the interior.

It's just a personal point of view ;)

I was just thinking what if you need to hit the hazard button if you suddenly stopped and you need warn others behind you like they do in Europe and else where.
But I just remembered that new Mercedes cars turn on the hazards automatically now.

Not sure if this feature is on in US bound cars.
