Still makes me wonder - is it possible that SLS is not profitable? First there was SLR, then there was SLS, and soon to come is SLC - every model more cheaper than the previous one. Could it be that demand in the SLS-segment is shrinking? I'm a bit puzzled why AMG does not expand its own cars portfolio...

They planned to. But I think MB has other priorities with their limited R&D spend at the moment.

This looks like a SLS facelift more than anything, but enough will change to consider it a new car. I hope it really brings the performance. A 4L V8 in the S63 at the facelift, doesn't sound right. A big car with a big number like "63" with a 4.0L engine. I guess this will be the darling of the Mercedes stand at the Paris show next year?

Agree... thay might as well go with hp-figures or something along those lines. The old engine designations are going out the window. Better believe AMG is working on a heavy-metal sound track for this 4.0liter V8. I don`t want to hear some light track sound that's piped through the speakers.

Agreed, that's probably speculation as AMG doesn't say what's next.

If you mean the windshield tinting around the cameras, that's also unsymmetric on the SLS.

I appear to be one of the few (if any) that finds the Coupetorino SL Concept very handsome. I like it far better than the current "collapsatop" R231 roadster, in fact. I would find a ragtop R231 + a Coupetorino type of coupe absolutely grand.

Quite obviously, I don't care for non-fabric, shutline adorned drop tops.
