Looks are starting to grow on me. Maybe the final product won't be a dissapointment. So far the aero is very interesting and more refined to what we have seen on previous prototypes.

Seems like there will be a new holy trinity:
Valhalla, P1 replacement and this! Porsche will be late to this one...
But Valhalla will not be in this price/hyper-class, correct?

Well, I expect a Valhalla to start from around $1+ million? $800k has been mentioned a year ago...
I don't doubt that Ferrari will be the most expensive, probably at $2.5-3 million? McLaren in the middle with $1.5-2 million?

This will depend on how many they intend to make, but the way markets are going, I highly doubt that the Mclaren will be under $2M. I doubt it will be under £2M for that matter. Since the days of the P1/LaFerrari/918 the market has shown that people will gladly pay 2M+ for a hypercar. In fact, a car costing at least 2M is probably now seen as something of a hypercar entry point, with many now going higher. The new Bugatti is $4M.

If the new Mclaren was under 2M, it would be like telling others that the car is not worth that price. As for the Ferrari, I wouldn't be surprised if their new hypercar went the way of the Tourbillon and cost more in the region of 3-4M.

I don't know what the Valhalla will cost - it will surely be a calculation designed to make it as expensive as possible, while at the same time not causing the people who had already put a deposit down, to pull out.

Aston's dealer told me Valhalla will be 1.45m USD b/c of demand.
The demand being only managing to sell half of them in the 5 years it's been on offer?

But, whether they mean it that way or not, they are essentially right. Because the demand for the Valhalla is weak and they might only sell half of what they intended, to not lose money they might have to increase the price.

The Ferrari won’t have the most expensive sticker price. However it will be the most expensive to obtain as buyer will likely have spent several millions on lesser Ferrari models to get allocations.

To buy a Regera Pagani or Koenigsegg there is there laddering, you just order the car. However, with Ferrari, you must order and take delivery of a 1-2 cars every year - including models that you don’t want or need.

Like Shmee, I know he deny's it, but he's bought SF90, 298, Roma, the stupid SUV, SF90 XXK and now the hideous 12 cylinder thingo. 6 new Ferrari's in 2 years, why else would he unless he was after this or one of the spinoffs that will be built on it's platform???

And just like that, Shmee will not get an allocation. They aren't making these cars for YT bloggers.

I do wonder how it's possible Shmee is able to buy a single Ferrari though, let alone this whole f'ing fleet. With the amount of views his channel has, average it has to be around 100k views per vid, which is barely enough to buy a full tank of fuel.

He’s mentioned multiple times he has a lot of other businesses that he runs in the background. How he manages that with all the you tube content is a bit of a mystery. I say good for the lad. Hard work and dedication to a realize a childhood dream is a good thing.

Ferrari has changed over the years and is a much more “open-minded“ brand than previously. Shmee was one of the first people to take delivery of a Purosange. If they wanted to be snobbish, they could have gave him an allocation that’s 18-24 months away.

MKBHD got to borrow a Purosange from Ferrari for 5 days to review. 10 years ago it would have been unthinkable for Ferrari to work with tech YouTuber who doesn’t even own or Ferrari or worship the brand. It’s actually comical and amazing how indifferent and matter of fact MKBHD is when he speaks about the car.

He’s denying it for two reasons:
1. Doesn’t want to or isn’t allowed to acknowledge formal announcement of the product.
2. He hasn’t received received a build date which confirms that he’s getting the model.

Getting the privilege to buy the Laf successor would be one hell of a career trophy. Should he decide to stop vlogging, the value appreciation of that model will makeup for hundreds of thousands of pounds that he will have lost in money on the other car. It’s also a car model that will be an epic networking tool and get him in rooms with people that the Zenvo and his other car doesn’t.

Fair enough! I am subscribed and wish him all the best. Was just wondering.

isn't there an exception? those who own every halo model 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari
That makes things too easy to game.

Why give an allocation to a legacy customers, when there are current ones pleading their loyalty by dropping £100-200k on tailor made options on SF90s or 15 cilindri that will depreciate the same amount in 12 months?

Ferrari is a public listed company that single goal is to increase production volume and profit per car. Shmee is a helpful marketing channel because: Views = eye balls = validation = demand = perceived value = orders placed.

First render!
