Rumors : The name of the 812 Successor is Ferrari 12 Cilindri.
When it comes to this type of stuff, it's sometimes difficult to tell what's real and what's parody.

Honestly, it's not that difficult....all you have to do give it a name that sounds pretty to non-Italinate speakers that alludes to their racing heritage, and perhaps throw in a number that references some technical detail about the car, i.e. displacement, power, heck, even downforce, and PRESTO! You got a name-o!

How good were di Montezemolo era names like 550 Maranello, 360 Modena and 599 Fiorano? Such banger names!

IMO 12 Cilindri is stupid because there's no way people are gonna learn to say Dodici Cilindri. Just like nobody (apart from native speakers) says Trenta Tre Stradale.
And what are the odds of people saying Twelve Cilindri, when Twelve-cylinder is right there? But then that isn't very specific, is it?

People love cool Italian words for car names. Good example is Quattroporte. Such an amazing name despite its ordinary meaning. But you gotta make it simple for them. Combining a number and an Italian word in one name just invites people to invent their own different names for the car.

I am still waiting with baited breath for what stupid name they come up with for the LaFerrari successor.
I'm hoping they're bringing back "LM" for that one. They're gonna want to milk the relation to the 2023 Le Mans overall winner.

Hope it improves with quality pics. Right now it looks like an ugly mod of the Roma.

A complete disaster from any angle and I fear no high res shot will make it better.

Definitely a way to send off the front engined V12.

Reactions: Ozy
I'm a bit shocked at how much shorter the rear overhang appears to be. Yeah, the picture is trimmed off, but there shouldn't be that much more ass outside of the frame.

I'd be annoyed with the lack of rear window.

Well, we are less than 27 minutes away from the premiere where Ferrari will pics that are so over-photoshopped.....
