Exciting day! Looking forward to the specs and different specifications.

Last time a V12 was ven was more than 10 years ago and it was a Q7 V12 TDI.

What's the point of V12 when everything is getting electrified?

That is exactly the point.....a V12 is now more exclusive than ever before, because everyone who has one is slowly dropping it....the German brands for one......

Just like how NA is the point of a GT3 when everything is turbo.

Most flagship performance SUVs are samey: Powered by V8TT mated to an automatic gearbox.

Ferrari could put the Roma drivetrain in a jacked up 5 door body and call it a day. However, putting a V12 in the Purosange will grant them licence to have a list price that’s €100,000-150,000 higher. This is good for total revenue and margins. :)

I’m curious about the toque map for the engine and how low down the rev range peak torque will be available, and whether the driving experience will be jerky in start and stop traffic.

A V12 Ferrari will grant that car a better price in time, but I don't think it will get them higher sales numbers .

Bentley sold far less than Lambo did. And I think if Lambo had the same engine in Urus as in Huracan , sales numbers would have been different.

But then again , Ferrari is Ferrari...

May I just add, that the official press release is also posted here:
